It is my goal as an Integrative Medicine practitioner to provide you and you with a safe, comfortable and positive therapeutic experience and to help you have a sense of well-being and vitality while addressing your main health concerns.
My treatments are administered according to each individual's specific needs. They can be complimentary to other therapies including western medicine, physical therapy, chiropractic, and psychotherapy as well as other alternative therapies. I firmly believe it is sometimes necessary to combine these modalities in order to speed up your healing process.
By performing a thorough intake evaluation on your health history and in carefully listening to all your concerns, I will design a treatment program that will put you back on your path to wellness. If your care requires further evaluation by another medical practitioner and/or therapist, I have an extensive list of such practitioners to which you can be referred, since my priority, is your well-being.
For children, I practice Pediatric "Tui Na", a versatile form of massage, and Japanese Pediatric Acupuncture, called Shonishin, a non-invasive form of acupuncture. Two very effective modalities that can be alternative or complimentary to Western medicine.
Both modalities were specifically designed to match the needs of children from birth through age 6 or so, but as children get older, and their problems more stubborn and difficult, regular acupuncture treatments can start to be used.
